For over 50 years, M & S Spring Company has manufactured torsion springs, compression springs, and extension springs using chrome silicon wire because of its high tensile strength and resilience. Chrome silicon wire springs can withstand high load stresses and temperatures compared to other materials. Chrome silicon wire can also be used at temperatures up to 45°F higher than chrome vanadium wire. M & S Spring Company’s chrome silicon springs meet ASTM A401 standards. Chrome silicon wire springs are cold drawn and heat treated before fabrication.
